Campsites: There are between 35 to 40 campsites. The road and driveways are gravel. Most sites have a fire pit but there are no picnic tables.

Host on Site: "Bud" has been the host for a very long time. He was not friendly to us because he didn't want the publicity but I am sure he is very helpful and friendly with campers.

Electricity Available: The only electricity is at the host's campsite. Generators are not allowed from 10pm to 6 am.

Restroom: There are two vault style outhouses which were clean and well stocked but had a strong odor when compared to other toilets.

Handicap Accessible: There are 2 handicap sites and a sidewalk leading to the outhouses and another to the docks.

Firewood: Firewood is available at the camp host's site.

Pets: Pets must be kept on a leash and you are required to pick up after them.

Recreation: Camping, sightseeing, wildlife viewing and fishing are popular activities near Henry's Lake.

Fishing: Wow, is fishing available? Henry's Lake is a world class trout lake. Check the regulations.

Boating: There is a boat ramp and mooring docks which are free for your use.

Swimming: Henry's lake is not a swimming lake but if you want I am sure you could find a spot for a cool dip.

Wildlife: Moose, bear and deer are common around the lake and there are also many species of birds.

Additional Camping Opportunities: We have reviews for these nearby campground; Henry's Lake State Park, Big Springs Campground, Flat Rock Campground, Upper Coffee Pot Campground, Buffalo Campground, McCrea Bridge Campground and Buttermilk Campground.

Phone service: There is a phone at the host's site but we had reception on our ATT cell phones.

Nearby Services: Island City begins nearby but extends 30 miles down Highway 20. The city is a series of stores, lodges and gas stations. Most supplies and services can be found somewhere in the city.
