Name: Swiftwater RV Park
Swiftwater RV Park is a small, pet-friendly scenic campground offering riverside camping for big rigs to vintage trailers and tent campers. Ten spaces face the Salmon River and a dozen others are a few steps further. A gazebo in the corner by the river provides a unique gathering place, complete with a fire pit. A covered pavilion area offers a BBQ and picnic tables for large groups to set up their kitchens and/or dine together.
Recreation: Hells Canyon National Recreation Area is only a 17 mile drive away, and can be reached by regular automobile, or by ATV/UTV or even a motorbike, direct from the Park. Popular activities in the area include ATV trail riding, scenic driving, horseback riding, jet boat tours on the Snake River (Hells Canyon), fishing in both the Salmon River and The Snake, rafting trips, hiking, wildlife watching and star gazing. Another popular daytime activity involves a lawn chair, a good book and the time to relax on the banks of the Salmon River.
