Shoshone Ice Cave is located along Highway 75 north of Shoshone, Idaho. For more info call 208-886-2058
There is a small museum which we visited while we were waiting for the next tour. The museum was free but the tour costs $10 for adults, $8 for senoirs, $4 for children and free under 3 years old..
The ice cave is a lava tube, the entrance is through this collapsed section.
The ice ranges from 8 to 30 feet deep, there is as much space below the walk as there is above.
It's kind of pretty.
